Ukraine claims has seized 1,000 sq km in Kursk attack

A top Ukraian commander has claimed his forces have captured 1,000 sq km (386 square miles) of Russia’s bordering Kursk region, while Russian President, Vladimir Putin, has vowed a “worthy response” to the offensive and ordered his troops to “dislodge the enemy from our territories”.
