Ukraine launches massive drone attack as ’60 explosions’ rock Russian airbase home to Putin’s prized bombers

UKRAINE launched an enormous drone attack overnight targeting key Russian airfields home to Putin’s prized Su-34 bombers.

More than 60 blasts hit two Russian bases in the overnight blitz as plumes of fire and smoke filled the sky.

A Russian official was forced to admit Kyiv had succeeded in the “large-scale attack” on the city of Rostov.

Ukraine’s ambush targeted Putin’s Morozovsk and Engels military airfields – where both Su-24 and Su-34 bomber jets are kept.

Kyiv has taken out a number of the valuable planes in daring aerial strikes and airfield hits.

Witnesses reported seeing more than 60 explosions during the bold blitz.
