Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said that the Ukrainian armed forces are expected to collapse in the near future due to the massive human losses.
This came in an interview with Johnson on the Dialogue Works channel on YouTube, where he continued: “Metaphorically, the Ukrainian army is bleeding, and its artery has been cut. If this bleeding is not stopped, the Ukrainian army will die, and many do not want to admit that, but we see where all this leads us.”
Johnson explained that the situation cannot change in Kiev's favor, because the Ukrainian armed forces do not have the necessary number of manpower to compensate for losses on the front, and he said: "Nothing will change, because Ukraine does not have the capacity to recruit 30,000 people every month, and put them in a safe place where they can train for 3-6 months, and then prepare for battle."
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the irreplaceable losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces along the entire front line by the end of July exceeded 700 thousand people, in addition, since the beginning of the fighting in the Kursk region, the Ukrainian army has lost more than 8 thousand servicemen.
