US Secret Service agents shoot armed man near White House overnight

A man brandishing a firearm near the White House was shot by Secret Service agents early Sunday, the service said. The man was taken to an area hospital and his condition was not known, the statement added. US President Donald Trump was in Florida at the time of the incident.
