Dashcam footage from the car behind shows her leaning out of the back window

She leans out of the back window before falling head-first and hitting the main road as the car keeps driving on.

Spanish cops shared the video as a warning to parents driving with children in the car.

Incredibly the little girl only suffered minor injuries in the shocking accident.

A spokesperson for Spanish police said:  “It’s just as important to have a child restraint system in place as it is to use it.

“Failure to do so can have very serious consequences.”

The toddler’s mum – who was driving – had failed to strap her in properly before setting off, local reports said.

She has since been reported to local authorities.

It is not clear whether she will be taken to court over the shocking incident.

Cops are conducting an ongoing investigation which could lead to criminal charges.

The horrifying moment the toddler fell was filmed by a dashboard cam in a car behind the one she was travelling in.

A police spokesman confirmed: “The driver has been reported for a suspected crime of wounding and for an administrative infraction for not properly using a child seat for the youngster.”

One social media user said: “What about taking the driver’s licence away for a couple of years as well as the fine!!

“This little girl did not die because there was a favorable alignment of the stars.”
