Chilling footage shows the furious animal charging towards the elderly man in front of his house in the southwestern province of Sichuan, China.

Shocked by the sudden confrontation, the 70-year-old tried to back off fearing a vicious attack.

But the beast pinned him down to the ground before goring him with his wild tusks.

The man can be heard shouting and crying for help while the boar repeatedly knocked him down.

After several minutes of trying to free himself from the animal’s grip, he eventually grasped a wooden stick – and struck the boar.

Surprised by the man’s counter-attack, the boar stopped the attack and left the property.

The old man was rushed to the hospital, who had witnessed the horror incident.

Doctors said he had severe injuries on his back and spine but is now in stable condition.

The horror video, which has now amassed loads of views on TikTok, sparked fury among the viewers who blame the wildlife department for the shocking accident.

One of the viewers said: “Should wild boars still be protected animals?”

Another commented: “God, I hope the old man is fine. What will happen to this pig in the end?”

A third added: “Go sue the wildlife conservation department.”

An official from the Forestry Bureau of Qingchuan County confirmed the incident and said: “The incident occurred at noon on 24th March, and we received a report from the Le’an Town Government on the afternoon of 25th March.”

The official advised: “When encountering wild boars in the wild, do not provoke them; instead, actively avoid them.”

It comes after a massive Indian elephant swung a female tourist around by its trunk and slammed her to the floor.

The woman was left with a badly mangled and broken leg in the chilling attack by the 2,500kg beast as onlookers watched on in disbelief.

The female tourist, believed to be a Russian lady, was helping others get on the elephant for a traditional ride as she was grabbed and violently swung around.

Chilling CCTV footage from Amer Fort in Jaipur, India shows the terrifying moment as it unfolds.

The woman was held up in the air for a few seconds as the elephant – named Gouri – quickly started spinning almost 360 degrees, knocking over nearby onlookers.

Meanwhile, another man was gored by a wild stag after it launched its antlers at him.

The walker was badly injured by its lethal antlers after the deer “had enough” at a nature park in Nottingham.

Horrific footage shows how the man, dressed in a black puffer coat and a black tracksuit, desperately attempted to fend off the attack by clutching onto the deer’s antlers.

He wrestled with the animal until it used its full force to ram him into the ground and then pushed its antlers straight into his thighs.

The man eventually managed to break free and stand up before he got even more hurt.

The incident took place at the 500-acre Wollaton Hall and Deer Park, home to two herds of 210 wild deer.
