The occupation besieges and storms cities and towns and bulldozes dozens of dunams

Today, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces stormed Palestinian towns and villages in the occupied West Bank governorates, during which they arrested and injured a number of Palestinian citizens. The occupation forces also bulldozed dozens of dunams of agricultural land in the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah.

The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that the occupation forces stormed the Tulkarm and Nour al-Shams camps in Tulkarm Governorate, where the occupation forces and their heavy machinery roamed the streets of the city, which they besieged and its camps from all four sides, amidst intensive flights of reconnaissance aircraft and jamming of the internet and communications networks.

The occupation forces surrounded Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital and Al-Israa Specialized Hospital, detained the medical staff and confiscated their identification papers, while the agency quoted sources as saying that the occupation destroyed public and private property, which led to a power outage in parts of Nour Shams camp.

In Nablus Governorate, the Israeli occupation army injured two children during clashes in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, and a young man and three children in Askar camp, east of the city, while clashes broke out between the occupation army and citizens in Askar camp, followed by the arrest of three young men.

In Ramallah Governorate, the official Palestinian News Agency reported that the Israeli occupation army arrested two children during its raid on the town of Kobar, northwest of the city of Ramallah, in the central West Bank, while forces of the "Musta'ribeen" affiliated with the occupation army attacked the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah.

The agency quoted the head of the village council, Sayel Kanaan, as saying, "Settlers attacked the village from the north, and fired live bullets at the citizens who confronted them," without any injuries being reported.

The occupation forces bulldozed dozens of dunams of agricultural land in the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah. The head of the village council, Marwan Sabah, told WAFA that the occupation forces bulldozed olive and grape farms in the area. The undercover forces and the occupation army also burned an agricultural room and wrote racist slogans on it in the town of Turmus Ayya.

In the Hebron Governorate, the occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar and arrested a number of citizens after they caused corruption in the citizens’ private property, amidst confrontations with the town’s residents. The Israeli occupation forces also vandalized the facades of commercial stores in the old town in the center of Hebron, and arrested a number of Palestinians in the town of Surif to the north.

Meanwhile, the number of detainees in the occupied West Bank rose to 9,600 on Tuesday since October 7, after the occupation army arrested 16 Palestinians in several governorates, according to what the Commission of Prisoners and Freed Prisoners Affairs (governmental) and the Palestinian Prisoners Club (civil society) said in a joint statement.
