During an Oval Office press conference Friday following the swearing in of Alina Habba as interim US attorney for New Jersey, a pro-MAGA reporter asked President Donald Trump about his views on women.

The male reporter began, "Mr. President, I want to say first of all, Happy Women's Month! You do so much for women, by, first of all, keeping men out of women's sports."

"That was an easy one," Trump said, shaking his head. "That was crazy."

The reporter name dropped some of the women in Trump's orbit like Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

"Now, Alina will be joining as well," the reporter said before pivoting. "Since Democrats seem to struggle answering this question, I wanted to ask you: What is a woman?"

Trump said it was an easy question for him to answer, then launched into a curious response.

"A woman is somebody that can have a baby under certain circumstances," Trump declared.

"A woman is a person who's much smarter than a man! I've always found that a woman is a person that doesn't give a man even a chance of success!"

"A woman is a person that in many cases has been treated very badly. Because I think that what happens with this crazy issue of men being able to play in women's sports is just ridiculous and very unfair to women, and very demeaning to women. And I watched the other day, I watched congressmen, Democrat congressmen, fighting for the fact that men should be allowed to compete essentially in women's sports. And I say, I hope they keep that going because they'll never win another election."

Trump finished up by declaring, "Women are basically incredible people that do so much for our country. and we love our women and we're going to take care of our women."

Just two days ago, Trump dubbed himself "the fertilization president" for his efforts to promote in vitro fertilization.

Of course, Donald Trump has had his own problems with women, too.

In 2023, Trump was found liable for sexually assaulting writer E. Jean Carroll in a New York department store dressing room in the 1990s, and ordered to pay millions in restitution.

And, since the 1970s, at least 26 women have publicly accused Trump of sexual assault or misconduct. Trump has denied all allegations against him.
