Met Gala 2024 was a star-studded night and some of the most popular celebrities from all parts of the world were assembled to grace the red carpet. However, the most popular woman in the world aka Selena Gomez wasn’t able to make it to fashion’s biggest night.

Selena’s absence at the event made her fans really upset about it, and they were spamming social media to know the whereabouts of the “Love On” singer. A day later, People Magazine came up with an update and shared that Selena was unable to attend the event because of her busy work schedule.

Selena has her hands full of work at this point of time in her life, people close to the singer have said that this is the busiest she has been in a longtime.

The 31-year-old is currently shooting for the upcoming fourth season of Hulu series Only Murders In the Building, she also has to deal with the operations of her makeup brand Rare Beauty. Besides that, Selena is set to attend the premier of musical comedy film Emilia Perez later this month.

Sources close to the couple have confirmed that the two are madly in love with each other and are already engaged, however these rumors have not been confirmed yet.
