Speaking in the National Assembly after losing the prime ministerial election, PTI leader Umar Ayub Khan expressed his regret over the law and order situation in the country.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the central Amir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, has said in a conversation with the media in Karachi that '  Democracy is losing its case in Pakistan and Parliament is losing importance.' 

He said that the parliament that came into being as a result of the February 8 elections is not representative of the people, but it is a rigged parliament, in which some people will feed themselves as rulers.

'But those people will not be able to rule the hearts of the nation. They may be able to do it on the body, but the nation will not accept it from the heart.'

He further said that his party will make a movement plan to protest against rigging in the elections, which will be a vigorous movement and will turn the tide of the country's politics.

'Things will not remain as they are being imposed upon us. There will be a strong public reaction against it, which we will systematically take forward.'

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that his party rejected the results of the February 8 elections, which was later confirmed by evidence.

"Earlier it was believed that the 2018 election was the biggest rigging in the history of Pakistan, but 2024 broke the record too."

He said that in this regard, the central committee of JUI decided to go to the parliament with reservations, but for the purpose of discussing this situation, the general councils and general councils in the four provinces are being taken into confidence. Speaking in the National Assembly after being elected as the Prime Minister, he said that the subsidy will be given directly to farmers instead of fertilizer factories.

Shahbaz Sharif said that he wants to mention the challenges so that he can know what the difficulties are.

He said that the total revenues in the budget is 12 thousand 300 billion rupees, while 7 thousand 300 billion rupees remain after the distribution of the provinces' share.

He further said that the interest payment after distribution to the provinces is 8000 billion rupees, while the federal government is facing a deficit of 700 billion rupees since the beginning.

'I promise that I will work together with the provinces.'

Referring to the agriculture sector, he said that his government will also give a special package for tube wells, while the seed mafia will be eradicated forever and the highest quality seeds will be procured from the world and given to the farmers. Solar tube well program will be launched.

Shahbaz Sharif said that a major challenge is the sharp increase in electricity bills.

"The revolving debt has reached 2300 billion rupees, while electricity worth 3800 billion rupees is provided, but only 2800 billion rupees are received, that is, there is a deficit of 1000 billion rupees."

He said that electricity and tax evasion is a life and death issue for the nation. 'Together we will eradicate this malignant cancer. Pakistan will stand on its feet. All this is certainly difficult but not impossible.'
