Timothee Chalamat is hands down one of the most talented and popular actors of present times, with over 18 million followers on Instagram and some great movies under his name, he is certainly on the path to becoming one of the greats.

Recently Wonka was released in theatres starring Timothee in the lead role and it is doing quite well, fans loved Timothee’s performance and the movie has received 7.4/10 on IMDB and 83% on Rotten Tomatoes which is quite an impressive number.

The movie has gained so much popularity that it is yet to be released in the US and talks of a sequel are already underway. Wonka has been written and directed by Paul King and for the unversed, it has been taken from Roald Dahl’s 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Wonka 2 In the Making?

A reporter from Entertainment Tonight got a chance to chat with the man around whom Wonka has been made, Timothee Chalamat. When asked whether he would be willing to work on a sequel of Wonka, he instantly nodded with a yes and he even hinted that there is a story in the works too.

Even Paul King who was in attendance at the premier event joined the chat and said that he is looking forward to making a sequel if he stays alive and that too only with Timothee, he also added that he is interested in incorporating American actor and comedian Gene Wider’s portrayal of Willy Wonka into the sequel, which sounds dope.

However, Timothee added that there is a gap between the characters and there is still plenty of work to be done there.

The story revolves around a young enthusiastic man who aspires to set up a chocolate factory, but before that, he has to fight and win over the mafias of the chocolate industry.
