  • XRP price to $10 is possible if these scenarios played out as the top analyst suggested.
  • Ripple IPO and XRP Ledger functionality need the utmost focus.

Ripple Labs’ associated digital asset XRP, stuck in the $0.5 level for months, recently reached the $1 milestone. This bold move has ignited bullish sentiments for XRP, which trades as the 6th-largest digital asset by market capitalization.

The 10 Reasons Behind an Expert’s Bullish Prediction

Edoardo Farina, a crypto analyst and CEO of Alpha Lions Academy, has outlined ten factors that could push XRP to $10. XRP would require an 809% increase from current price levels to hit $10. Farina believes it is achievable, albeit speculative, despite the tremendous growth required for this aim.

Resolution of Ripple vs. SEC Lawsuit and Regulatory Clarity

The expected resolution of the protracted legal battle between Ripple and the SEC contributes to Farina’s optimistic outlook on XRP. There are rising speculations of a potential settlement once a more pro-crypto candidate replaces Gary Gensler as SEC Chairman.

In the meantime, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has taken the case to appeal, as CNF reported. The US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit has ordered the SEC to file its final arguments by January 15.

Afterward, the court will consider applications to dismiss or proceed with portions of the case. Farina believes the case resolution will liberate XRP’s repressed market potential, increasing prices.

The second reason Farina highlighted is XRP’s regulatory clarity status in the US. In July, Judge Analisa Torres ruled that XRP is not a security when traded on centralized exchanges.

Ripple’s RLUSD Stablecoin  and Trump Pro Crypto

Farina’s third rationale focused on the XRP Ledger’s function in facilitating the issuance of Ripple’s native stablecoin, RLUSD.

Ripple Labs’ President Monica Long confirmed in a CNF report that the RLUSD is ready for use and is awaiting regulatory clearance before launch. Also, crypto analyst Mr. ManXRP has spotlighted RLUSD’s inclusion in the Extended Global Forex Data spreadsheet, indicating acceptance in traditional finance.

Farina believes Donald Trump’s inauguration as US President in January 2025 is the fourth factor that could help XRP’s prospects. Farina highlighted previous encounters between Ripple executives and important legislators, implying a positive regulatory climate under pro-crypto leadership.

Gensler’s Potential Resignation and XRPL Technological Superiority

This optimism extends to the resignation of the current SEC chair, Gary Gensler. Farina’s fifth argument is that the appointment of a pro-crypto SEC Chair is more likely as Gary Gensler has revealed his departure date. He thinks this may increase XRP’s chances of hitting $10.

Farina highlighted XRP’s technological prowess as the sixth reason he believes it could reach $10. He referred to XRP as “Bitcoin 2.0,” implying that it is an improved and upgraded form of Bitcoin.

Its capacity to settle transactions in under three seconds with zero fees distinguishes it from competitors such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. This makes XRP a candidate for real-world financial applications, increasing its chances of reaching $10.

XRP ETFs and Institutional FOMO

Farina cited the probable launch of XRP Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) as the seventh cause that might propel XRP to $10. He sees a boom in XRP ETFs by 2025 because of increased institutional interest.

Notably, asset managers Bitwise, Canary Capital, and 21Shares have all applied to launch XRP ETFs. Grayscale is also trying to turn its multi-asset fund, which includes XRP, into an ETF. Thus, Farina highlighted institutional FOMO as the eighth reason that may cause XRP to soar to $10.

Ripple’s IPO and X Payments Integration

The ninth factor cited by Farina is Ripple’s anticipated Initial Public Offering (IPO) launch. A public listing might increase Ripple’s exposure and attract additional investors to the XRP ecosystem.

Business leader and consultant Jake Claver commented in a CNF post that Ripple’s IPO if launched, could resemble Amazon’s 1997 IPO.

Finally, Farina sees a potential partnership between Ripple and Elon Musk’s X platform as the tenth factor that might propel XRP to $10. Musk’s aim of transforming X into a payments hub aligns with XRP’s potential for quick and low-cost cross-border transactions. However, as of press time, such a collaboration remains highly speculative.
