Zircuit, a zero knowledge-rollup platform with an unwavering focus on security, is proud to announce the launch of its long-awaited Mainnet Phase 1.
According to the team, the Mainnet Phase 1 launch will allow users to bridge funds to Zircuit’s Mainnet. Users will also be able to interact with different projects in the Zircuit ecosystem, which include InstaDapp, Ambient Finance, Shoebill Zerolend, Ethena, DODO, Circuit, Lynx, LogX, and more. The launch also creates a great platform for developers to deploy their applications on Zircuit.
Mainnet Phase 1 introduces a cap amount required by each wallet to bridge assets. These caps will reportedly increase over time. Zircuit takes this approach to ensure it provides a broader distribution of rewards to all wallets, particularly smaller wallets. During this first phase, users can only bridge Ethereum (ETH). However, the team plans to add other assets progressively as the project unfolds.
In addition to the Mainnet Phase 1 launch, the Zircuit team also announced the launch of the Zircuit Mainnet Festival, a program designed to reward users. This first-of-its-kind program will see that users receive ZRC, the native tokens on the platform for their different engagements. Users will also get the opportunity to win huge prizes in promotions that they can gas spend on the Zircuit network.
As part of the Mainnet Phase 1 launch, Zircuit is hosting the Zircuit Mainnet Festival to reward users for paying gas fees on Zircuit Mainnet. Users will also have the opportunity to win other prizes, including a hefty prize of 100000 ZRC.
Commenting on the launch, Martin Derka, co-founder of Zircuit stated:
“Launching the first phase of mainnet is a significant milestone for us. Developers and users can now experience the full benefits of Zircuit and our breakthrough technology, sequencer-level security. In addition, the Mainnet Festival is a first-of-its-kind mechanism that most directly rewards early active users. We see Zircuit as the foundation for the next wave of innovation in web3 and we look forward to seeing what decentralized applications will be built on Zircuit next.”
Notably, Zircuit has also launched the ZRC Season 1 Airdrop that will reward users who participated in its staking program. The Zircuit program has over $2 billion in stakes following overwhelming support from the Zircuit community. Currently, Zircuit has opened up the Season 1 Airdrop claims, allowing early stakers of the Season 1 points campaign to claim their tokens. It is important to note that users can only claim their tokens during this stage, and they will not be transferable until Phase 2. Set to launch in August, Phase 2 will cause asset migration from the Ethereum mainnet to the Zircuit mainnet. During this Phase, the Zircuit team will collect wallet addresses from users intending to move their staked asses.
