ZKcandy: Momentum and Strategic Investments in Web3 Gaming

Reflecting their strong origins in the gaming industry, well-known game producer iCandy runs ZKcandy in Southeast Asia. In just two weeks, ZKcandy registered over 2.4 million wallet creations and showed amazing momentum during its open testnet phase.

This milestone emphasizes the great interest and possibilities this Layer 2 chain offers in drawing in the gaming community. Using zkSync’s scalability and efficiency will help ZKcandy rethink how blockchain interacts with the gaming environment, hence increasing user accessibility and engagement.

Apart from its main innovations, ZKcandy has deliberately made investments in Kroma, another Layer 2 initiative constructed on Superchain technology. This cooperation stresses the strategic need of improving interoperability inside the ecosystem and the increasing connectivity among blockchain technology.

Such expenditures fit ZKcandy’s goal of creating a strong and varied Web3 gaming environment fit for both users and developers.

On the other hand, Buenos Aires is generating news for its innovative project using a blockchain-based system to transform citizen identity.

In February 2024, CNF notes that this solution guarantees improved security and privacy by use of zkSync technology applied through QuarkID. Emphasizing notable advances in technology interoperability and digital identity management, it easily links with Ethereum, Polygon, and Rootstock.

Meanwhile, ZkSync’s native token, ZK, is swapped hands at about $0.2217 as of writing; it has gained 6.74% over the last 24 hours and 15.51% over the last 7 days.
